As the summer draws to a close and the school year is beginning, seniors are remembering that they need images for the yearbook! YIKES! (I’m one to talk, my own daughter hasn’t worked me into her schedule yet, either). I’ve been pretty busy lately with weddings and seniors, and I’m loving every minute of it. (Okay, to be honest, it’s been a bit hot, but other than the heat – it’s all good).
I’ve had three sessions this week and have had fun getting the personalities of each individual to shine in their final images. I’m usually able to do some indoors and some outdoors, but we actually had a rainy day this week, which meant Abigail’s session was all done indoors. But we had a blast playing with light and her cute outfits. She even brought along her French horn and we got some fun images with that as well.
Morgan wanted more urban themed images, so we went to downtown Fayetteville and played around the square. We shot until it was so dark we could barely see. As we were leaving the Lord treated us to an amazing lightening show!
SarahGrace allowed me to follow her to a friend’s home where we made use of a baby grand piano for some of her portraits; then we were off to the waterfall to get a few late evening shots there. We had to work around a family who was shooting portraits in the “prime” spot at the falls, but we were patient and it was rewarded in the end.
Here are some samples of what I shot with these three. I invite you to check out the rest of their senior portraits in their client proof galleries on my main site.
