In May I was blessed with my first granddaughter. Violet was born full term, healthy, with a head full of hair. She’s a cutie! What a blessing for a photographer to have such a cutie to take portraits of!
Soon after I became a grandmother my friend Teresa’s daughter Ashley had a baby, too. They named their little gift Hayden. The difference is that Hayden was early, very early. She weighed 1lb 12oz at birth. I watched her development as Teresa posted updates on Facebook, and I prayed that God would watch over her and bring her home. Those prayers were answered, praise God! Hayden is now almost 5 lbs and doing very well.
Today I anxiously awaited their arrival so I could photograph this sweet little girl. She is still so tiny, but such a sweetheart. She didn’t love my messing with her (taking off clothes, putting on hats, etc.), but she did amazingly well and we got some really cute memories for her family.
