I had a great holiday and hope you guys did, too. I love blessing others with a little gift to show them how much I care and to be with friends and family. The food wasn’t bad, either. Due of family traveling and busy schedules, we still have one “Christmas” gathering after the first of the year, but slowly life is getting back to normal. The tree is back in the attic, wreaths are off the windows, and the Christmas village that decorates my mantel is back in the box.
Sadly, we didn’t take advantage of family being home to have holiday portraits made; but thankfully, others did. Stacie Blanks came to Huntsville for her husband’s family Christmas gathering and wanted family pics while everyone was together. Luckily, I was available at the time they wanted these images made. I am so thankful for this opportunity. I truly enjoyed meeting her family and capturing some image to mark this moment in their lives.
After taking a few images of the entire family, each family, the kids, the kids with grandparents…. (you know how it goes), Mr. Blanks took me around to show me some of his great nature photography. He has some great images on his wall that range from the French alps to a chipmunk that lives in his backyard. I love looking at images and sharing my passion for photography, so this was a plus! He guaranteed me that on my next visit he’ll have an image of the 8 point buck that he feeds in his backyard. I’m excited to see that one!
Here are a few from that session. You can view the entire series of images in their client gallery here. **Double click on images to see them larger and in a lightbox so you can scroll through them.**
Hope you all have a happy new year!
