Pre-Session Consultation: We will discuss your vision, location preferences, and what you hope to capture. Whether you want formal studio portraits or relaxed outdoor images, I’ll help you plan every detail.
Wardrobe Guidance: Coordinating outfits for the entire family can be stressful. I provide detailed wardrobe guidance to ensure everyone looks cohesive without being too “matchy-matchy.” The goal is timeless elegance that photographs beautifully.
Location Scouting: Studio sessions offer controlled, classic results. Outdoor sessions provide natural settings – your home, a favorite park, or a location that has meaning to you and your family. I’ll help you choose what best suits your family’s personality as well as the room in which your portrait will be displayed.
Optional Professional Styling
Hair & Makeup Services: Want to look your absolute best (and let’s be honest, who doesn’t)? Add professional hair and makeup styling for the adults in your family. You’ll feel confident and camera-ready, and it shows in the final portraits (additional fee applies.)
The Session Itself
Relaxed and natural: I don’t believe in forced, stiff poses. Instead, I guide your family through natural interactions that bring out genuine connection. The goal is authentic emotion, not manufactured smiles.
Everyone included: From toddlers to grandparents, pets to extended family – everyone who matters to you belongs in these portraits. I’m patient with young children and skilled at capturing multi-generational groups.
Multiple Setups: Your session includes various groupings: entire family parents with kids, siblings together, individual portraits, and candid moments. You’ll have the options that work for different spaces in your home.
