Huntsville Pet Photographer

I love my furbabies, so I understand how much you love yours, too. It’s amazing how these pets can become a part of our families. But, let’s admit it, they don’t always cooperate when we want to take a photo!

Pet photography is a big part of what I love to offer to north Alabama and Huntsville area families.  Whether you want the controlled environment of the studio, to include your pet in your family session, or candid shots around your home, I want to create the images you desire. I’ve trained with one of the most recognized pet photographers in the nation and have learned some tricks and tips that help to keep them interacting with me and the camera so I can create some amazing images of your beloved pet.

An award winning pet photographer, Cindy is Huntsville’s premiere pet photographer.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS:

Does My Pet’s Age Matter?

Pets of all ages are welcome. Now, puppies and kittens are much more of a struggle, but there are tricks to make it work. I recommend you work on sit and stay in order to have the best chance of getting the desired outcome with your fur baby.

What if My Pet is Shy?

No worries, I totally get it. I am patient and allow pets free roam of my studio in order to help them to get comfortable before I ever touch the camera. My goal is to capture your pet’s true personality, even if that’s gentle and reserved.

Where Do Pet Portrait Sessions Take Place?

I can photograph your pets in my studio, in your home or at an outdoor location of your choice. We can discuss your pet’s personality and determine which location may be best for them.

Can I Be in the Photos?

Absolutely! Many clients love having portraits that capture the bond between them and their pets. Those images are so meaningful. I can shoot a mix of solo shots and photos with family members so you have a variety from which to choose.

What Should I bring to a Pet Portrait Session?

Bring your pet’s favorite treats, a few toys and a leash. If we will be shooting outdoors, I’d suggest you bring water and waste bags. Often, taking them on a long walk before the session gets the energy to a manageable level and makes for an easier session. If you have special props like clothes, collars, bandanas, etc., you want featured, please bring them.

How Do You Handle Multiple Pets in One Session?

Typically, I will photograph each pet individually first, then work on group shots. The group shots can be challenging, especially if pets aren’t trained to sit and stay, so allow for extra time.

Can You Photograph Animals Other than Dogs and Cats?

Yes, I can photograph any animal (within reason). I can go to your farm for photographs of your horse or other larger animals, and I welcome all smaller animals in my studio or at a location of your choice.
