Here we are on the cusp of a new year.    The scriptures tell us life is a vapor and if you think about how fast this year came and went, you will agree that it is a true statement.  As I look forward to the new year, and make the “required” resolutions, I take into account what I’ve done this past year and what I want to change/improve in the new year.    For me, this includes my spiritual life, personal/family life and my photography business.     I ask myself, “Who do I want to be and where do I want to go?”

I want to continue on my journey to grow my relationship with my Lord and my Savior, to walk in the Spirit and to bring glory to His name.    I love my Lord, so that goal will be a joy to work toward.

I hope to spend more time with my amazing grandchildren and support my grown daughters as they walk through this world and make choices that will affect them for the rest of their lives.   My girls are amazing and have proven themselves responsible, so I don’t worry about them – too much.   😉    Phil has started working for a great new company and and we are so excited about the benefits and the joys that come with his employees having a better working situation.

My business is a huge part of my life.   I love all things photography, so it takes up a good part of my day and my thoughts.    I hope to continue to grow my business in the new year and create amazing memories for my clients.    I have been blessed with the most amazing clients in the past and expect nothing less in the future.

I’m actually considering renting a studio space.    That’s HUGE for me.   The overhead is scary.    I love the thought of having the space to create fine art portraits for my clients with amazing lighting and sets – all shot at 200mm.    Hey, a girl can dream.      But, the overhead!

So, as I enter this new year with new hopes and new goals, I ask for your prayers, your friendship and your support; and I pray I can be all of that for you!
